Photo assignments and research
It's not easy running a small but really good Canadian photo agency. "Really good" means getting those calls from major magazines, newspapers, design firms, ad agencies and corporations around the world. And being "small" means being busy, spotting talent and bringing it to the forefront, sharing ideas with art directors, editors and creative departments—all these while leaping from assignment to assignment without missing a beat.
Such is life for Dolores Gubasta and her KlixPix colleague, veteran entertainment writer Lenny Stoute, at this Toronto-based photo assignment and research agency with its roster of professional photographers in Canada, the U.S. and around the world.
Dolores has curated photo exhibitions in the Toronto photo festival Contact and stays on the crest of leading trends by attending photo events whenever possible, such as the Festival of Photojournalism in France.
